Brian Roy

Brian loves God and he loves Union Church. In God’s perfect timing, just as he was looking for a change in his work life, the Facilities Coordinator position became available.  This was the perfect match for Brian, coming from 30 years of experience in home building. Outgoing and energetic, Brian is right in his element, maintaining and facilitating improvements for our 127-year-old historic church in downtown Rockville.  Brian enjoys being on a staff with the same core values and feels privileged to serve the church that’s been “home” to his family for 18 years.

Brian and his wife, Jennifer, have two teenagers; 16-year old Jacob, and 13-year old Brianna; and a recent addition of their dog, Bodie.  Jen has been active in promoting women’s ministries at Union.  In their personal time, Brian says, “I love getting the Jeep full of mud with my family and playing board games and puzzles together.”  Brian has a heart for others, and has been blessed to volunteer, more than once, for a ministry: Fuller Center for Housing, that builds homes for those in need.  He is also a licensed, life coach and mentor.
