Home Bible Studies
Home bible study groups run by our Elders. The 4 different groups are Missions, Proverbs, Discipleship, and Financial Literacy.
Luke and Pam’s study called “Sending and Going Together” focuses on God’s global purposes from Genesis to Revelation. Reflecting on the book of Acts, this study guide also addresses practical questions like, Who sends missionaries? What do they actually do? What kind of missions work should churches support? The goal of this study is to encourage local churches to obey the Great Commission with wisdom, prudence, and patience, pursuing faithfulness above all else and ultimately leaving the fruitfulness to the Lord. Are you ready?
Ron and Char invite you to join them in seeing their hearts transformed by the wisdom and perspectives provided in the book of Proverbs. The study guide author states that Proverbs “demonstrates clearly that God’s ways are intensely practical and apply to every aspect of His people’s lives.” We will grow together as we embrace God’s teaching related to wisdom, His guidance, our work, anger, temptation, and more. If you desire to see growth in any of these areas, please join us for a great time together.
Brian and Christine’s short study explores the Bible's teaching on discipleship, and covers such topics as the need for discipleship, the demands of discipleship, and the enemy of discipleship. With discussion questions at the end of each chapter, participants will work through guided reflection as they learn about the centrality of discipleship in the Christian life.
Jon’s study called “Rich Toward God” will be on Financial Literacy going through the Parable of the Rich Fool found in Luke 12.
