Apologetics - An Overview

Apologetics is simply an answer that is given in defense or reply to a question. As followers of Jesus we need to be ready to give a reason for the hope we have to those who ask us.  That doesn't mean that we need to be walking theologians that have God "figured out" but it does mean that we need to be ready to help people understand the "why" behind the "what" in relation to God, the Bible, the Church and Christians.
