Proverbs 22:6 Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.”
Union Church strongly believes the next generation might be the most important part of the church. Without it, the church would not continue on. So here at Union Church, we value our next generation and believe in training them up the way they should go!
What Does Sundays Look Like At Church for Kids?
See the Schedule under Events!
When you arrive at the church we will ask you to register (or register below) and sign your children into Children’s Church at the Youth Ministries table in the Narthex. Children’s Church is our version of Sunday School! It is for K-5th graders. We have dedicated background checked, vetted and trained volunteers who love to share the Word of God with children! We use the Gospel Project curriculum.
We also understand the needs of parents with kids who have special needs. Several of our children have taught us much on this very topic and we love them for that! We strive to make Children’s Church a place for all to come and feel welcome and safe.
Part way through the service, your children will go with their coaches to Children’s Church. After the service is over, head on down to sign your child out and then join in during Connection Time for fellowship and coffee!
We also have the Nursery Ministry for babies to age 5. Staffed by background checked, vetted and trained volunteers who love to serve God by taking care of God’s precious little ones.
The nursery is staffed before the start of service at 9:45 am, so you can come early, sign your child into the nursery and feel secure that your child is safe with our volunteers.
You and your child will be entering the church through the main entrance where we will be happily waiting. At this point the screening will take place before the child goes to nursery. For pick up you can use the Chapel stairwell.
